In July, Urban called into Adelaide’s Mix102.3 breakfast show while promoting his Australian concerts. In a fun and light-hearted segment, “Wall of Truth,” the country singer was asked to share his thoughts on Kidman sharing romantic scenes with younger co-stars.
Urban didn’t answer the question asked by the host, Max Burford, and ended the call abruptly. On air, one of the hosts mentioned that the star didn’t appreciate being asked personal questions like these.
The call gave insight into Urban’s feelings about Kidman’s performances. A source close to the family revealed that, although Urban has always supported Kidman’s career and ambitions, he found it “uncomfortable” when asked about her intimate scenes.
