Nikki Glaser may have experienced an embarrassing early exit on Dancing with the Stars, but don’t expect her to hold a grudge — or stay off the dance floor.
During a recent appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast, the comedian, 41, looked back at her appearance on the 27th season of the hit series in 2018, when she was the first contestant to get axed.
“I knew I couldn’t dance when I signed up for it, but I didn’t really know,” she explained. “It was almost like I’d never danced. So I was like, ‘Maybe I’m great and I’ll find out!’”
Unfortunately, Glaser — and her partner, Gleb Savchenko — were voted off first, which she recalled was “one of the most humiliating moments of my life.”
According to the former FBoy Island host, the environment of the show intensified her emotions in unexpected ways. With her schedule entirely focused on rehearsals, as per an Entertainment Weekly report, she became more invested than she thought she would.

“They kind of warp your mind in there,” she told Armchair Expert host Dax Shepard, noting that she even began to believe she was improving her moves before her departure. “Your whole life clears out.”
“I got love bombed on that show aggressively, and then when I got voted off, I was crying to my friends like, ‘I just like miss dancing. I’m a dancer,’” Glaser explained. “And they’re like, ‘What the hell?’”
Despite the humiliation, the Trainwreck actress insists she’d happily return to the ballroom. In fact, she has a pitch: a “losers season” featuring early eliminations like herself.
“I would definitely do it again,” she added.
