A costume designer who grew up in Norfolk and has “worked with quite a few big stars” has taken home a national industry award.
Grace Snell won her second British Independent Film Award for best costume design for the film Pillion.
She took home her award on November 30 at Camden Roundhouse and said it was “so special to be recognised”.
She added: “Independent cinema is a vital part of the film industry and the British Independent Film Awards are a celebration of unique voices.
“It’s an honour to be awarded.
“It’s important to support your local cinema, start film clubs and get talking about film.”

The romantic comedy also won best independent film at the awards and was shown at Cinema City in Norwich last week.
Miss Snell was born in the city and spent her childhood in Sheringham, where she was educated at Bignold School, Sheringham High School and Paston College.
Since then she attended many red carpet events with lots of a-list actors.
