A Summit County State Representative attended the lavish wedding of popstar Taylor Swift and Cleveland Heights native Travis Kelce July 3 at Madison Square Garden, according to reports.
State Rep. Steve Demetriou was photographed arriving at MSG.
He is serving his second term in the Ohio House of Representatives where he represents the 35th Ohio House District, which includes portions of Geauga, Portage and Summit counties.
He also serves on the Development, Small Business, Technology and Innovation, and Ways and Means committees.

In Summit County, Demetriou’s district includes Sagamore Hills, Northfield Village, Macedonia, Twinsburg, Twinsburg Township and Reminderville. In Portage County, the communities he represents are Aurora, Streetsboro and Mantua Township

The elder Demetriou serves as the executive chair at Amentum, an engineering and technology company in Dallas, according to his LinkedIn. He also serves on FirstEnergy’s board of directors.
What has grabbed fans’ attention is that Amentum Services was granted a $452.9 billion U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement contract by the federal government in March, according to USA Spending. A description of the contract states Amentum is responsible for providing “detention, transportation and medical services at the Camp East Montana Temporary Detention Center in El Paso, TX.”
The Camp East Montana ICE detention facility has a reputation of being wrought with issues from “mismanagement, medical neglect and dangerous living conditions” prompting investigative reports from ProPublica, NPR and The Guardian.
