The Marias kicked off a star-studded best new artist performance block at the 2026 Grammys. The show showcased all the rising artists in the famed category. The alt band played their hit song, “No One Noticed,” enchanting the crowd with a much more mellow vibe than the performances that came before them.
The 2026 best new artist category proved to be stacked. This year’s crop of best new artist hopefuls include The Marias, Addison Rae, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, Lola Young, Olivia Dean and Sombr. Host Trevor Noah touted during the performance medley that between all of the artists, they had more than 27 billion combined streams last year.
Rae followed up The Marias, coming to L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena on the back of a box truck. Decked out in an extravagant, bedazzled purple trench coat, Rae performed her song “Fame is a Gun” in the backstage area of the arena.
