EXCLUSIVE: Andrew Windsor Faces Furious Calls to Reimburse Taxpayers As He’s Mired in Shameful New Royal ‘Rental Scam’ Scandal

Just before Christmas an unassuming 22-year-old sat on the floor of a packed two-hour intercity train ride from London to Bristol doing some university work on her laptop. If you didn’t know who she was you would have thought this studious young woman was not going to let a shortage of seats and some discomfort stop her English degree studies.

But if you did recognise Lady Louise Windsor you’d say that – despite being the only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and 17th in line to the throne – her level-headed actions sum her up. Such a down-to-earth royal would be a huge asset to King Charles and Prince William when older – especially after the crisis of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Sarah Ferguson and their Epstein connections.

But Lady Louise would be mad to become a working royal – because right now she has everything.

King Charles’s youngest niece has largely been residing in Scotland since 2022, with the royal now having almost completed her four-year degree at St Andrew’s.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are increasingly popular among Brits, who admire working royals who pack their diary with public appearances, and avoid negative headlines.

Also we love royals who don’t whine about their priviledged life like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

While one of King Charles’ brothers is causing mayhem over Epstein, the other Prince Edward was calmly stressing: “I think it’s really important always to remember the victims and who are the victims in all this? A lot of victims in this.”

Duchess Sophie revealed recently how she wanted both of her children to have as normal a childhood as possible.

She said: “They go to a regular school. They go to friends for sleepovers and parties. On weekends, we do lots of dog-walking and stay with friends.”

Lady Louise and her brother James, Earl of Wessex, 18, have only appeared at major events such as the King’s Coronation in 2023 and the annual Christmas Day walkabout.

She has managed to keep her romance to fellow student Felix da Silva-Clamp, 21, low-key after they met in a student drama production at the University of St Andrews.

In August, Felix joined her at the National Carriage Driving Championships at the Ashfields Carriage and Polo Club, pumping his fist as Lady Louise rode.

“He’s always been very supportive, but also leaves her alone to get on with the job,” said carriage driving coach Sara Howe.

Last November, he was by her side again as they both took part in the St Andrews Regiments’ Day Parade with the St Andrews University Officers’ Training Corps.

Her passion for military service is another reason many suspect she will avoid the working royal path – as she is rumoured to be considering joining the Armed Forces following her training in the Army Cadets.

Doing so would make Lady Louise the first female royal to join the Forces since her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

After the doom and gloom emanating from the US Epstein Files and swirling around Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, the country is in severe need of sensible royals who bring hope and joy.

But although her country may need Lady Louise, it could be that she will find another dutiful way to honour and serve it.
