Winnebago Audubon will host the presentation at 1:30 p.m. July 19 at the J.P. Coughlin Center, 625 E. County Road Y, according to a community announcement. The featured guest is Micky Torpedo, a Rockford, Illinois-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and educator.
Torpedo collaborated with Sinnissippi Audubon in Rockford to produce three instrumental albums inspired by bird calls from species such as the American Bittern and Sandhill Crane.
