Acting as a nanny for the uber-wealthy means that nothing should surprise you, but that didn’t stop Million Dollar Nanniesstar Jack McCann from sharing his shocked reaction to his clients’ cosmetic surgery. The first episode of the new Hulu and Freeform show follows McCann, who touts himself as “New York’s number one manny,” meeting with a prospective client family while spending the summer working for a nanny agency in Ibiza. The family is made up of three fathers who co-parent two twin children together and are known for their social media accounts under the handle @Our3Dads, where they document their unique living situation.

Mark Ebinger was once married to Tom Freeman, and the two had twins, Beau and Coy, with the help of a surrogate. After divorcing, the couple was adamant they didn’t want to break up the family, and so Freeman decided to stay with the family. Later, Mark remarried Moke Coffey, and since then has acted as the twins’ third dad. “We’re all here for the kids,” Ebinger said on the episode. However, the unique living situation was not nearly as intriguing to McCann as the plastic surgery that each of the dads had gotten.“We spend most of our money on furniture,” Coffey said in a confessional, before adding, “We do spend a lot of money on plastic surgery too,” as the camera cut to shots of the trio’s recent procedures. “It’s just good grooming,’ he added.
“Holy botox! Woo, that’s a lot of work,” McCann said about the three dads’ cosmetic procedures, after meeting them at their pool in Ibiza. However, his comment was all in good fun, as he then added, “But, bodies’ kind of tea.”Million Dollar Nannies is a reality show following a “young group of elite nannies” who travel to Ibiza to “launch a new kind of agency, built by nannies, for nannies.”During the episode, McCann competed with another member of the group, fellow “manny” Mitchell Bienvenue, to win the job of nanny for Ebinger, Coffey and Freeman’s son, Coy. Another nanny, Liv McMahon, was given the job of working with the trio’s daughter, Beau.Throughout the episode, Bienvenue and McCann try to win the affection of their young client, with McCann confident that he will win the task, given that he, like the three dads, is also gay.

At one point, the pair is even tasked with giving the fathers spray tans, something McCann does not take too well. However, at the end, Coy ultimately chooses Bienvenue to be his manny.“I’ve never not gotten a job, McCann said, after loosing the challenge. “I think Mitchell is a great nanny, but I did feel that connection with Coy. I saw so much of myself in him.”The first episode also followed other nannies, like ex-nanny for the Kardashian-Jenners Leah Barrs, who is the woman behind the Ibiza agency and her best friend Sydney Siegel as they struggled to navigate the demands of their pushy new employers, Miami-based dentist Camila Guiribitey and her mother Taty Guiribitey. The official synopsis for the full series reads, “They’re promised VIP families, life-changing money and a shot at something bigger than any of them could build alone. But fierce competition, personal drama and a scandal from the past threaten to derail the dream before the summer sets.”
“It’s not a job. It’s a lifestyle,” reads a tagline for the show.
The full season of Million Dollar Nannies streams June 18 on Hulu.
