Roman Griffin-Davis (“Jojo Rabbit”) will star in the film, alongside Alistair Petrie (“The Night Manager”), Alice Lowe (“Timestalker”), Annette Badland (“Ted Lasso”) and Paterson Joseph (“Wonka”).
Told through a non-linear structure, “One Hundred and Fifty-Two Days” follows Boy as he recovers from pneumonia at the same time his mother is undergoing cancer treatment. Navigating isolation and uncertainty, Boy forms an unexpected connection with a new physiotherapist while also spending time with his eccentric grandmother.
The film, which is in preproduction, will shoot on location in Lincolnshire and Humberside later this year with support from Greenwood’s “LocationLincs” scheme. Paley-Phillips has co-written the screenplay with Elizabeth Morris (“Above the Below”). Content Now Studios are repping global sales.
