PAC to host Ilwaco Mariachi groups

The Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts at 588 16th St., in Astoria will host a concert featuring two Mariachi groups from Ilwaco High School.
The 7 p.m. show March 13 will feature Mariachi Pescador and Oro y Azul.
The evening will showcase Mariachi favorites, new selections and American pop hits., “From heartfelt ballads to high-energy showstoppers, the students will share the passion, tradition, and joy that make Mariachi music so powerful,” said director Rachel Lake.
Admission is free but donations are accepted.
