Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are stressing out the royal family.
According to expert Richard Palmer, the couple’s history of speaking to the press about what goes on within The Firm is making it hard for their relatives to want to mend fences.
“There’s always a general worry that Harry or Meghan are going to say something that will embarrass King Charles III and Queen Camilla,” the journalist told The Mirror.

Reporter Duncan Larcombe told the outlet that His Majesty “is in an impossible position right now” over whether or not to get close with Meghan and Harry.
“He and Prince William can’t reach out to Harry for fear of him then publicizing it,” the commentator claimed.
Larcombe claimed the risk of the Duke of Sussex dropping any “bombshells” is “the big blockage” to a possible reunion.
One year after the Suits actress and Harry left England, they sat down for a shocking interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they made several shocking accusations about their relatives.
“In those months when I was pregnant [with Prince Archie]… we have in tandem the conversation of, ‘He won’t be given security. He’s not going to be given a title,’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Meghan told the media mogul during the interview.
“There were several conversations about it,” she claimed. “I think that would be very damaging to them. That was relayed to me from Harry. Those were conversations that his family had with him. It was really hard to be able to see those as compartmentalized conversations.”
In the book Kate!: The Courage, Grace, and Power of the Woman Who Will Be Queen via Page Six, biographer Christopher Andersen claimed the Prince of Wales was “sick with worry” over what Meghan and Harry would say.
Per the tome, Kate Middleton “could hear her husband retching in the bathroom” for a week before the special aired.

While the Princess of Wales held out hope that the Spare author and her husband could fix their relationship, Harry’s comments about Charles’ cancer battle during his 2025 BBC interview enraged her.
“Now it was time to nail the door shut once and for all, and for the first time, Kate, who had worked harder than anyone to mend the rift between the brothers, willingly handed her husband a hammer,” Anderson wrote in the tell-all via Us Weekly.
“The damage was done: seeds of doubt concerning the King’s chances for a full recovery had been sown,” he noted.
