Pamela Anderson opens up on her upcoming exciting role
Pamela Anderson couldn’t hide her excitement as she got to play a “very interesting woman” in an upcoming movie.
On Friday, January 9, the actress spoke to Variety at the WWD Style Awards at the Regent Santa Monica and reflected on her role in Michael Cera’s Love is Not the Answer.
“It was a wild experience, and I just finished it right before the holidays,” Anderson said. “I just went back to blonde [hair] yesterday, so I felt like I finally let the character go. So it was, well … you have to see. I got to play a really interesting woman, and that was exciting.”
While a release date and further details are yet to be revealed, the project was described in May as a “precise yet unpredictable, absurdist comedy that swings between hilarity and heartbreak, exploring modern loneliness and the human search for connection.”
Anderson has been enjoying a remarkable run following her critically acclaimed performance in The Last Showgirl, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination in 2025.
In August, she starred alongside Liam Neeson in The Naked Gun, which went on to win Best Comedy at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
