Paramount Skydance is looking to bid to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, in a move that could potentially shake up the media industry, Deadline reports. The $8.4 billion Paramount/Skydance merger was just finalized in August after nearly a year of negotiations. The deal, led by the Ellison Family and billionaire Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, netted his son, David Ellison’s Skydance Media, control of Paramount Global.
Deadline also reports there have been rumors that the newly merged company would set its sights on Warner Bros. Discovery.
