Oct. 22 (UPI) — Parcels performed such songs “Leaveyourlove” and “Yougotmefeeling” for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, in the episode that dropped Wednesday.
Jules Crommelin, Louie Swain, Noah Hill and Patrick Hetherington sang, while Crommelin also played guitar and Hetherington played percussion and keyboard. Swain was also on the keyboard and Hill was on bass.
Anatole Serret played the drums.
“It’s a stunningly stripped-down choice for a band that can — and does — properly rock out, with explosive live performances that turn its glossy, electro-pop studio albums into transcendental dance parties, collective rituals of movement and joy in which the crowd becomes a key sixth band member,” NPR wrote in the official description.
Parcels also sang “Tieduprightnow,” “Ifyoucall,” “Gamesofluck” and “Finallyover.”
Their Tiny Desk performances comes just after the Sept. 12 release of their album Loved, and amid their tour across North America, which kicked off Oct. 13 in Berkeley, Calif. and winds down Nov. 1 in Live Oak, Fla.
