Parker McCollum is not waiting on a trial.
According to multiple reports, the 33-year-old country music star immediately axed his stage manager, Joel Schoepf, who was recently arrested following an interaction with a popular child sex predator catching group.
Schoepf was taken into custody in New Braunfels, Texas on Nov. 13, and was charged with a second-degree felony of online solicitation of a minor under the age of 14.
According to Whiskey Riff, McCollum immediately cut ties with Schoepf, who had been serving as his stage manager since 2023. The singer has not offered a public comment.
Whiskey Riff also reported that Schoepf was arrested as part of a sting by Alex Rosen, a former college football player turned child sex predator catcher, who has a massive following on social media as well as YouTube and Locals.
Rosen shared a video on X on Nov. 13 of Schoepf being put into handcuffs.
“He is a predator,” Rosen said as Schoepf was being loaded into a police vehicle behind him. “We caught him off Reddit. He was into babies and toddlers.”
Rosen claimed that Schoepf came to meet a 13-year-old boy.
“He is getting what he deserves right now,” Rosen said.

Schoepf was reportedly released on $50,000 bond on Nov. 14. He has not yet been convicted of a crime.
Whiskey Riff said Schoepf’s LinkedIn shows that he has a “long history of working in the country music industry in Texas.” The outlet said that Schoepf also worked as a guitar tech for Cross Canadian Ragweed from 2006 through 2010, was touring manager for Cody Canada and the Departed for two years, and a tour manager for Reckless Kelly from 2020 through 2022.
Whiskey Riff said that Schoepf has also served as a production manager for Willie Nelson’s Luck Reunion since 2012.
The outlet said that Schoepf’s most recent country music gig came as a guitar tech for McCollum starting in 2021 and that he had been a stage manager for the singer since 2023.
