Actor and comedian Nick Offerman, best known for his role as Ron Swanson on “Parks and Recreation,” is hitting the road in 2026 for his “Big Woodchuck” tour in support of his latest book, “Little Woodchucks: Offerman Woodshop’s Guide to Tools and Tomfoolery.”
Offerman, who is also a skilled woodworker and craftsman, will be joined by Lee Buchanan, his co-author and longtime collaborator, as they bring an evening of comedy, woodworking and music to fans across the country.
Offerman’s tour will make a stop at the Palace Theatre in Albany on April 11, 2026. Following that, he will perform at The Town Hall in New York City on April 14, 2026, as part of a 10-date East Coast leg of the tour.

Offerman’s new book, “Little Woodchucks,” introduces woodworking projects designed for children and beginners. The book features 12 new projects, including fun and approachable builds like a box kite, as well as more advanced creations like a mini “little free library.”
Offerman has been running his own woodworking shop, Offerman Woodshop, in Los Angeles for over two decades, producing high-quality custom furniture.
Offerman’s recent work includes winning an Emmy for his role in “The Last of Us” (2023) and appearances in “Death by Lightning” and “The Smurfs” movie (2025). He’s also known for his roles in “Fargo,” “The Founder” and “The Lego Movie” franchises, and co-hosted NBC’s “Making It” with Amy Poehler.
