Unfortunately, it looks like Charlie Cale is searching for a new home.
In a statement made to Deadline, ‘Poker Face’ creator Rian Johnson and star Natasha Lyonne announced that the popular mystery series will not be returning to Peacock for Season 3.

Despite the show being one of the most popular on Peacock, ratings for Season 2 had dropped and maintaining the series was expensive.
That being said, all hope is not lost as ‘Poker Face’ searched for a new home for Season 3. However, Lyonne won’t reprise her role as Charlie Cale.
According to the statement, Lyonne will remain as an executive producer for the series. However, the role of Charlie Cale will be played by ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Toxic Avenger’ star Peter Dinklage.
“We’ve been germinating this next move together since writing the season two finale,” the statement read. “We love our ‘Poker Face’ and this is the perfect way to keep it rolling. Give us a beat and we may just see Charlie Cale again down that open highway.”
According to Johnson, the goal is to keep the series going and replace the actor playing Charlier Cale every two years. This would echo the emphasis on ensemble ‘Poker Face’ has maintained with memorable guest stars like Cynthia Erivo, John Mulaney, Adrian Brody, Lil Rel Howery, Nick Nolte, Katie Holmes, Carol Kane, and more.
