Peter Naylor, a well-traveled veteran of the media industry’s ad-sales trenches, is joining Nielsen as chief client officer, a new role at the media-measurement giant.
Naylor will serve as an ambassador of sorts to Nielsen’s many clients, which include advertisers and video publishers, streamers and broadcasters. Naylor’s assignment is to “ensure the measurement company is meeting the needs of a wide array of clients, while working with Nielsen’s sales, product and research teams to help partners enhance their businesses.” He will report directly to Karthik Rao, CEO of Nielsen.
