The King and Queen Camilla have reportedly been informed of the wedding date, with members of the Royal Family likely to attend the nuptials. The exciting event will likely fuel speculation over whether Prince Harry will attend – with or without his wife and two children in tow. Peter attended the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in May 2018.
The royal was joined by his ex-wife, Autumn, whom he separated from the following year.
Harry is set to travel back to the UK just a few weeks after his cousin’s wedding for the one-year countdown event of the 2027 Invictus Games.
It remains unknown whether Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, will join him.
A statement sharing the happy new was released earlier today, it said: “Mr Peter Phillips, the son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips and Ms Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr Rupert Sanders and Mrs Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, have today announced their wedding date.
“The summer wedding will take place at All Saints Church, Kemble, Cirencester, on Saturday 6th June 2026 in a private ceremony.”
Peter’s divorce from Autumn was finalised in June 2021.
With the couple sharing two daughters, aged now 14 and 15, the split was understood to be amicable.
