Pooja Hegde recently drew online attention following reports of an alleged interview claiming she described an inappropriate incident with a “star hero” early in her career.
The report, published without any confirmed source quickly spread online and sparked speculation on social media.
As per Bollywood Life, the unverified posts claimed, the actress shared a troubling experience on a pan-Indian film set when a male co-star allegedly entered her caravan without permission and misbehaved.
According to these reports, she confronted the actor, slapped him, and later requested the filmmakers to avoid pairing them again.
Meanwhile, some allegations added that portions of the film were completed using a body double.
As the speculation grew, Ramesh Bala took to X (formerly twitter) to deny the claims. He penned, “Rumor Check: The so-called interview attributed to #PoojaHegde going around is 100% fake. Don’t share misleading content!”
On the professional side, Pooja awaits Jana Nayagan starring Vijay, which has been delayed because of a legal matter regarding its censor approval.
It is pertinent to mention, the movie, directed by H Vinoth and inspired by Anil Ravipudi’s Bhagavanth Kesari, is reportedly Vijay’s final film before stepping into politics.
She appears alongside Varun Dhawan in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which is set for a June 5, 2026 release. In addition, she features in DQ 41 alongside Dulquer Salmaan, contributing another nationwide project to her schedule.
