The All-American Rejects announced Sunday afternoon that lead singer Tyson Ritter needs “some vocal rest,” forcing them to cancel their remaining concerts opening for the Jonas Brothers. No replacement or refund options have been announced.

“Hey Rejects fam,” AAR wrote on social media. “Unfortunately, Tyson has to take some vocal rest, and we will be stepping away from the remainder of the Jonas Brothers tour. His voice needs a little time to bounce back so he doesn’t do any real damage.”

“It’s been such an amazing run, and we are bummed to have to cut it short. Massive love to the JoBros, their crew and everyone who’s been singing along every night. You’ve made this tour something special.”

The Jonas Brothers still performed Sunday night at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo. WGRZ reports brothers Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas made the best of it, even stopping by Gabriel’s Gate in Allentown for “the best wings allegedly in the city” (and yes, with blue cheese).

Before the JoBros tour, The All-American Rejects had a busy schedule this year with concerts, including an independent “House Party” tour with surprise performances in a variety of unlikely places. Pop-up show locations included back yards, a bowling alley in Minnesota, and a farm in Iowa.
