Lil Jon has been working on his physique lately, entering in the Muscle Beach Competition that was held in Venice Beach, California, on Sept. 1.
The rapper, 54, took home third place in the Men’s Physique Master’s Over 45 category with some downright impressive muscle definition. He’s been working with personal trainer Jay Galvin, who celebrated Lil Jon’s accomplishments ahead of the competition.
“Beyond excited to see this. The ultimate transformation @liljon from the king of partying to this is just unreal,” Galvin captioned an Instagram post on Aug. 25. “Determination, dedication, and discipline has paid off. At 53, being in studios, traveling weekly, family time, and charity work to still stay dialed in is beyond impressive work. I appreciate you beyond words for bringing me along on this journey and taking the guidance that Dave gave us. Saying you’re a legend is an understatement, but now you’re not just a legend, you’re a legendary unit! Let’s f go!”
Following Lil Jon’s win, he took to Instagram to share the big news.
“3RD PLACE! ALHAMDULLIAH. THANKS TO ALL THAT SUPPORTED ME ON THIS,” he captioned a post before tagging several accounts.
Fans took to the comments section to react to Lil Jon’s win — and his super toned body.
“Damn! You looked awesome! Congrats on your first show,” one person wrote.
“Bruv… this is super inspiring. You are one outta a few from our class that’s keeping it right and tight (mhs c/o 89). Btw, thank u for putting heads up on sea Moss,” someone else said.
“These rappers need to put down the LEAN and pick up the dumbbells! Fitness will change ya life for the better,” a third comment read.
