Voice actor Greg Cipes recently revealed he was terminated from his longtime role after sharing personal health news.
Cipes, who voiced the character of Beast Boy on popular cartoon “Teen Titans” for 24 years, said he was fired by Warner Bros. after he announced he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
DC fan and journalist Emmanuel Newsome made an Instagram post Sunday urging filmmaker James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, to help Cipes. Newsome said the voice actor shared some “upsetting details and information of how he was wrongfully terminated.”
Then Cipes weighed in.
“Warner Brothers literally fired me on Valentine’s Day right after I publicly shared my Parkinson’s diagnosis,” Cipes commented on the post.
