In case you needed another reason to believe that Post Malone has a big heart, here’s some proof.
On Oct. 28, one mom shared a TikTok of her young daughter, Addi, meeting the Syracuse-born rapper-turned-country-star.
In the clip, the little girl approaches Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, while he’s at a restaurant. Their exchange starts with a hug, before Addi exclaims, “You’re my biggest fan. I know all of your songs.”
Although Addi seemed to mispeak, the “Circles” singer played along. “I’m your biggest fan? You’re d— right I am,” he said, as he gave her a high five.
The TikTok, which was viewed over two million times, ended with them posing for a picture together. Addi’s mom joked in the caption: “My daughter took time out of her busy schedule to meet her biggest fan Post Malone yesterday and he was so incredible. Thank you for making her birthday week!”
In the comment section of the video, viewers praised Post Malone’s behavior. “So we all agree that Posty should be protected at all costs, right?,” wrote one user.
“He must have the patience of a saint. I have never seen a single post of him upset with a fan asking for a picture,” added another.
Other comments read, “Posty is the nicest dude in music” and “Post Malone is a national treasure.”
Even folks who weren’t fans of the “I Had Some Help” singer had some kind words. ”I don’t really like his music that much but this is so wholesome. Such a sweet guy,” wrote one user.
Malone, who currently resides in Utah, was born in Syracuse and lived in Central New York until he was 10.
