Post Malone Hints at New 40-Song Double-Album, ‘The Eternal Buzz’

Post Malone has taken to socials to tease a brand new double-album, The Eternal Buzz, with the ‘Chemical’ hitmaker sharing a photo of him working on the potential tracklist.

Across all his social media channels, Post has uploaded an image of a whiteboard, with The Eternal Buzz at the top and Disc 1 and Disc 2 beneath it. Each disc seemingly features twenty tracks, with the song-titles yet to be pencilled in.

It comes a matter of months after the genre-blurring trailblazer confirmed during a live-stream in December 2025 that, if everything went his way, he’d be dropping two records in 2026. It looks like he’s since decided to combine these into a double-album.

At the moment, it’s unclear whether the ‘rockstar’ singer-songwriter’s new project will follow in the country-leaning vein of F-1Trillion, or whether it will see Post returning to the hazy rap and trap-inspired sonics of his earlier material, such as Stoney.

Judging by the fact that he’s once again heading out on tour this year with his good buddy, Jelly Roll, we suspect The Eternal Buzz will be another country body of work – and that it will feature at least one collaboration, and likely more, with Jelly.

That said, the decision to divide The Eternal Buzz into two “discs” could signal that Post is going to be giving us one side of country earworms, and another with trap anthems.

Last week, Post linked up with his ‘Sunflower’ team-mate, Swae Lee, for the infectious, reverb-laden ‘Take My Heart’. It serves as one of the first times we’ve heard Post slipping back into the sound of beerbongs & bentleys and Hollywood’s Bleeding in recent years, and could imply he’s been exploring this territory again.

Either way, with Post captioning this new photo with the tantalising “coming soon”, it looks like we won’t have to wait too long before get to enjoy his F-1Trillion follow-up.

The ‘Pour Me a Drink’ crooner is headlining Tortuga this Friday (April 10th) – his first major show of 2026 – before stepping back onto the Stagecoach stage later in the month.

Post famously used the latter as the springboard for his game-changing, chart-topping Morgan Wallen collaboration, ‘I Had Some Help’, back in April 2024, which in turn kicked off the rollout for F-1Trillion. Could he be planning to run it back this month…?
