Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will soon be going back to the United Kingdom for a visit with King Charles III, but that doesn’t mean he’ll see brother Prince William.
“I certainly wouldn’t expect anything to happen on this visit,” royal reporter Emily Nash told Page Six in an article published Monday, June 22, regarding a potential meeting between the siblings. “I mean, you never know.”
“If it was part of a wider family gathering, it’s possible they could be at the same place at the same time,” Nash added. “But, you know, given the very fractious nature of the relationship between William and Harry, I don’t see them rushing to spend time together just because Harry’s back in the U.K.”
As Star previously reported, the Duke of Sussex, 41, and his wife, 44 — along with their children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 — are expected to visit his side of the family in July.
According to People, the 77-year-old king even offered royal accommodations for the family.

Royal commentator Amanda Matta — who calls Harry’s relationship with the Prince of Wales, 44, the “most strained” out of all the family dynamics — pointed out, “William has been the holdout for years, viewing Harry’s betrayal as unforgivable.”
However, she added that if the brothers held a private meeting while Harry is in the U.K., it may mean the “lines of communication are being reopened.”
Nash thinks any kind of reconciliation would “have to happen step by step,” adding: “When things have been as difficult and as estranged as they have been in that family, I wouldn’t expect things to change overnight.”
While the Spare author has returned to the U.K. several times since he and his wife stepped back from their senior royal duties in 2020, Meghan and the kids have not been there since 2022.
Reporter Nash — who specializes in the royal family, according to her X bio — also doubts that His Majesty will get in the middle of his boys during Harry and Meghan’s upcoming trip.
“I think he probably is just focused on his own moment of spending time with the son he’s not seen for a long time,” Nash said. “Especially potentially meeting his grandchildren… I’m sure that’s probably his primary focus right now.”
