Prince William and Priness Kate are planning to relocate their family to a new residence in Windsor by year’s end, according to an insider.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their three children Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, are reportedly preparing to move into the eight-bedroom Forest Lodge located in Windsor Great Park.

The source revealed that the family is looking forward to a “fresh start” in the larger home, which they view as their “forever” home, a significant upgrade from their current residence at Adelaide Cottage, reports Daily Express UK.

Renovations are said to be in progress at the property to ensure it’s ready for the family’s move before the year concludes.

The Sun has reported that planning applications indicate minor work has already commenced at the Grade-II listed lodge, with the renovation costs expected to be covered by the couple themselves.

The family initially moved to Windsor in 2022, settling down in the modest Adelaide Cottage, to provide the children with a more normal lifestyle with increased privacy.

Currently, the family does not have any live-in staff at their residence, and this is expected to remain the same when they transition into their larger home.
