Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are reportedly set to miss this year’s Royal Ascot carriage procession as the repercussions of their father’s links to Jeffrey Epstein continue.
The sisters — daughters of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor — are not expected to appear at major Royal family events for the time being.
According to the Mail on Sunday, they have been informed they will not take part in the Royal family’s appearances at Ascot in June, including the Royal Box and the traditional carriage procession.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on 19 February over allegations of misconduct in public office. It remains unclear whether he will face charges. He denies any wrongdoing.
