Happy Valentine’s Day to the Prince and Princess of Wales!
Taking to their official Instagram, the royal couple celebrated the holiday by treating us all to a sweet new photo. Taken back in April of 2025 by Josh Shinner, the black-and-white image captured William and Kate outside, snuggled up and looking as in love as ever.
For the photo, the princess wore a layered look. At the base, she went with a white blouse, designed with a frilly collar that peeked out the top of her second top—a crew-neck sweater. She added a classic blazer to keep warm, as her long curled hair blew slightly in the springtime breeze.
Next to her, William kept things coordinated with a layered look of his own, also wearing a thick knit crewneck over a button-down shirt.
This month, the prince traveled to Saudi Arabia to spend time with local rangers, learning about “conservation, habitat restoration, and species reintroduction” in line with the country’s environmental initiatives.
Back in the United Kingdom, Kate turned her attention to children’s mental health, working with Place2Be on their dedicated week of awareness. “This year’s Place2Be Children’s Mental Health Week is about the importance of belonging,” the princess, who serves as a patron, shared. “It can be easy to overlook the importance of the things that matter most; love, care and time spent together. Belonging and connection is so important, and is a fundamental part of early childhood development.”
“As Patron of Place2Be, I am incredibly proud of the work they do to support families and communities to nurture children and young people,” she continued.
