Princess Charlotte is marking her 11th birthday — no doubt surrounded by her proud parents, Princess Catherine and Prince William, along with her two brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis.
Yet it appears the young princess possesses a remarkably sophisticated palate for a child of her age.
While most youngsters would be perfectly happy with cheese sandwiches and various potato-based snacks, the young royal has decidedly more refined tastes.
The Princess of Wales has previously disclosed that her children enjoy pitching in to “make salads and stuff” alongside their go-to dish of cheesy pasta.
Catherine also revealed her middle child has developed quite a fondness for olives, reports the Liverpool Echo.
In sharing this rather surprising titbit, Catherine drew a parallel between herself and the young princess, having previously spoken of her own love of olives back in 2018.
It seems Prince Louis has an impressively advanced enthusiasm for beetroot — a vegetable that most children would typically turn their noses up at.
During filming with Mary Berry for a televised Christmas special, the Princess of Wales confided: “We’ve got carrots, beans, beetroot – a massive favourite – Louis absolutely loves beetroot.”
Meanwhile, Prince George, the eldest of the three siblings, is said to have a particular weakness for spaghetti carbonara.
Catherine regularly speaks of her love of cooking at home, including making pizzas together with her children, which they apparently “can’t get enough of.”
Pasta and roast chicken are firm favourites in the Wales household, with the prince and princess having previously revealed their fondness for smoothies and steak during royal engagements.
According to Marie Claire, Catherine and her family are not especially keen on sweet treats, but share a deep love of Italian cuisine, particularly pasta and pizza.
