Radial Entertainment has named Carrie Ferman as its new Chief Operating Officer. The executive addition completes the assembly of the company’s senior leadership team as it moves into an aggressive phase of international expansion. Ferman joins the enterprise directly from Sony Pictures Television (SPT), where she previously spearheaded business strategy and operations.
In her new role as COO, she will oversee strategic growth across content distribution, technology, and business operations, while additionally leading the integration of newly acquired assets. She is also tasked with driving the cross-functional coordination needed to scale the company’s vast 70,000-title catalog across FAST, AVOD, SVOD, and TVOD platforms in over 50 international markets.
The appointment was officially announced by Radial CEO Jeff Shultz during a keynote interview at the StreamTV Show in Denver. “We’ve spent the last few months assembling a team and a platform built for global scale, and Carrie is exactly the operator we needed to take it to the next level. Her experience running operations, supply chain, and M&A integration at Sony at the level she did is a direct match for where Radial is headed. Her arrival puts the finishing touch on the management infrastructure we’ve been building, and I couldn’t be more confident in where we go from here,” Shultz stated.
