This is a special studio sneak peek at “Radical,” an upcoming song from our new album *Kadesh*, scheduled for release in July 2026.
Musically, “Radical” is one of the most energetic and unapologetic songs on the album. Massive guitars, driving rhythms, huge choruses, and a healthy dose of attitude combine to create a song that asks a simple question:
Who gets to decide what’s radical?
According to the modern world, many of the things Christians have believed for two thousand years are now considered extreme.
The virgin birth?
Radical.
The resurrection?
Radical.
The sanctity of human life?
Radical.
Biblical marriage?
Radical.
The exclusivity of Christ?
Radical.
The authority of Scripture?
Radical.
The song explores the growing tension between a culture that increasingly views historic Christianity as strange and believers who simply want to remain faithful to what God has already said.
The irony, of course, is that Christians aren’t trying to be radical.
We’re trying to be biblical.
And that’s the heart of the song.
“Radical” isn’t a call to rebellion.
It’s a call to faithfulness.
It asks whether believers should spend their lives chasing the approval of the culture or the approval of God. The answer becomes obvious very quickly.
If remaining faithful to Scripture appears radical to the world, then so be it.
The world has changed many times.
God has not.
Like much of *Kadesh*, the song combines heavy music with deeply theological themes, creating something designed to challenge, encourage, and strengthen believers living in an increasingly hostile culture.
There is much more coming from *Kadesh*.
Much love,
