Rapper Lil Poppa, whose real name is Janarious Wheeler, has died at the age of 25, the Fulton County Medical Examiner told Newsweek in an email Wednesday.
“His manner and cause of death are pending investigation,” Brian Jost Reents, Senior Medical Examiner Investigator, said in the email.
Lil Poppa released his new single “Out of Town Bae” Friday, according to a report from TMZ.
The rapper had been signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG) and was known for his album released in August “Almost Normal Again.”
