Rapper Rick Ross has put his six-bedroom Southwest Ranches, Florida mansion on the market four years after buying it, according to the Miami New Times.
The 14,000-square-foot property is listed for $6.5 million through Sotheby’s International Realty. While the listing makes no mention of Ross, his song, “Here I Am,” is used in one of the promotional videos.
Ross paid $3.5 million for the property in 2021, according to real estate records, and reportedly bought it from former NBA All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire.

Inside the house
Ross, born William Leonard Roberts II, is known for rapping about his luxurious lifestyle, and his Miami mansion shows his lyrics aren’t just for show.
The property has a main house with four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms and a separate guesthouse with two bedrooms and a full bathroom, according to the listing.
In the main house, there’s a chef’s kitchen with four ovens, a six-burner gas range, dual dishwashers, and a walk-in pantry. You’ll also find a soundproof movie theater, a custom bar, and two offices.
That’s just the inside. A resort-style pool and waterslide sit next to a covered summer kitchen and patio perfect for entertaining.

Ross is an avid car collector, but he could only fit nine of them at the Southwest Ranches home. The private driveway looks long enough to hold a few more.
The neighborhood is also home to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, several high-profile athletes, and supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
Ross’ real estate and business ventures
The Miami mansion is far from the only property in Ross’ real estate portfolio. He owns multiple properties in Texas and Georgia, including a 109-room estate in suburban Atlanta that he calls “The Promise Land.”
His mother was also a real estate investor long before Ross made it big with his 2006 song “Hustlin,” he told Forbes in 2021.
“She always bought real estate,” Ross reportedly said about his mother. “She came from Clarksdale (Mississippi), where the real estate was a lot cheaper.”

She advised him to do the same after he asked her about the stock market. “Son, I don’t really rock with the stock market,” she said, according to Ross. “I don’t know much about it, but I know about real estate. So when you buy something, make sure you can touch it.”
Ross is also the founder of music label group Maybach Music Group, owns several fast food franchises, and invests in brands like French sparkling rosé maker Luc Belaire, according to Brands by Rick Ross.
