Travis Scott isn’t just bringing out new music this weekend. The Houston rapper drops his fourth album, “Utopia,” on Friday, July 28, and he’ll be on the big screen, too.
Though he canceled plans to perform a livestreamed concert that day from the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, Scott will be in movie theaters on Sunday, July 30 and on Aug. 1-2 with the film “Circus Maximus.” Production company A24 describes it as “a mind-bending visual odyssey across the globe, woven together by speaker rattling sounds” from “Utopia.” Tickets for the film can be purchased via travisscott.com. “Utopia” is the follow-up to 2018′s “Astroworld,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified four-times platinum.
