Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror comedy ‘Thamma’, continues to hold steady at the box office. The film has collected Rs 104.07 crore nett in India within nine days of release, as per trade website Sacnilk.
After a strong Rs 24 crore opening, ‘Thamma’ maintained its momentum, earning Rs 95.6 crore in its first week and crossing the Rs 100 crore mark on its eighth day.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, the movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. The story follows reporter Alok Goyal (Ayushmann) and his eerie encounter with Tadaka (Rashmika), a mysterious woman who draws him into the hidden world of betal – vampiric creatures unseen by ordinary humans.
