The Reno Rodeo begins June 17 with this year’s annual kickoff concert headlined by country music singer-songwriter Dylan Scott.
Scott has multiple No. 1 hits, including the triple platinum-certified “My Girl,” the platinum-certified “Nobody” and “New Truck,” along with “Can’t Have Mine” and “Boys Back Home.”
Tickets are $65 and include open seating in the grandstands or standing room in the arena. General-admission military tickets with valid I.D. (at ticket office only) are $55. Tickets are $75 the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased in person at the rodeo ticket office from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Monday-Friday or online at renorodeo.com. Per-ticket service and handling fees apply.
In addition to the concert, the carnival grounds, food court and Jack Daniel’s Tent will be open to the public with no grounds fee on the night of the concert. Tickets for VIP for the Branding Room (limited seating) are $190 per person or $1,710 for a table of 10, each guest will receive a concert ticket, VIP parking and dinner with catering, live entertainment and an open bar. Are Reno Rodeo tickets still available?
Tickets for the rodeo are available, but are down to single seats scattered throughout the arena and/or limited viewing seats.
Those tickets can be purchased by calling the ticket office at 775-329-3877, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., or by visiting the ticket office at the Reno Rodeo office (Gate 6 on the corner of Sutro and 10th Streets.)
Additional tickets will be released daily at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. starting June 18 at the box office outside the Livestock Pavilion.
New fan experiences for 2026 Reno Rodeo
The Reno Rodeo is adding new arena entertainment, fan discounts and a new equestrian event to the lineup, set for June 18–27 at the Nevada State Fairgrounds.
New this year is the debut of the Double Dip Horse Show, legendary rodeo clown Justin Rumford’s first appearance at the Reno Rodeo, and a new specialty act from Summer & Company.
Doc Bar Speakeasy will host a Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday, June 21. The lineup also includes Trivia Tuesday on June 23, featuring questions tied to Americana, Nevada history, PRCA rodeo and Reno Rodeo traditions, and Wolf Pack on Wednesday on June 24.

Double Dip Horse Show debuts at Reno Rodeo
The Double Dip Horse Show will make its Reno Rodeo debut June 24–27 in the indoor arena. Free to attend, the annual, multiday horse show is co-hosted with AJA Equine and begins at noon each day.
The show features Sierra Nevada Horse Show Association-approved classes, special stake money classes and an ice cream social, giving local riders a major points-earning opportunity ahead of the season finale. Combined results from AJA Equine and Pair of Aces Stables often include hunter team challenges and Division Champion and Reserve Champion titles.
Justin Rumford makes first Reno Rodeo appearance
Rodeo entertainer Justin Rumford will make his first appearance at the Reno Rodeo this year, bringing his signature humor and quick wit to the arena June 18–22.
Rumford has earned multiple PRCA Clown of the Year honors.
Matt Merritt, another rodeo entertainer, will take over June 23–27, keeping the energy high for the second half of the rodeo.
Summer & Company joins Reno Rode entertainment lineup
Summer & Company will make its Reno Rodeo debut as this year’s new specialty act, bringing fast-paced trick and Roman riding to the arena. Led by Summer and featuring her daughters, Emmie and Jinsen, the mother-daughter trio blends horsemanship, athleticism and showmanship.
Summer brings more than 13 years of specialty act experience, while Emmie and Jinsen have been performing since they were 4 years old and are among the youngest trick and Roman riders in the PRCA.
Discounted Reno Rodeo carnival wristbands available at Grocery Outlet and Nevada State Bank
Discounted carnival wristbands will be available in advance at all Grocery Outlet and Nevada State Bank locations. The carnival is open throughout the Reno Rodeo and features rides, games and classic fair-style food for fans of all ages.
Tickets are on sale and available online at renorodeo.com/tickets or in person at the Reno Rodeo Association office located at the Nevada State Fairgrounds on Sutro St. through Gate 6.

Street closures and changes
The Reno Rodeo Association has requested the use of a portion of Wells Avenue for additional controlled access and improved traffic flow, into and out of the event.
Gate 3, located off Wells directly west of Sutro, will again serve as the cowboy/cowgirl contestant entrance. Gate 2.5 will provide access into the north public parking area. Gate 6, off Sutro, will be the entrance to the south public parking areas. ADA parking is available in both the north and south parking lots. Gate 2, Gate 4 and the Health Department Gate will be exit only. All gates will be opened after each night’s performance to assist with the flow of exiting traffic.
In conjunction with Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR), the Reno Rodeo will provide free parking and a free shuttle to the rodeo grounds. The GSR parking and shuttle will be available daily, June 18–27 from 2:30 p.m. until midnight. There will also be designated areas for casino shuttle drop-off and rideshare/taxi.
Traffic circulation will include the following modifications:
- Wells Avenue will be reduced to two lanes.
- One-way, west/southbound traffic on Wells Avenue from Sutro Street to 9th Street in the vicinity of the Reno Sparks Livestock Events Center.
- Northbound traffic on Wells Avenue will be diverted east at 9th Street and north at Sutro Street.
- Only left turns will be permitted into and out of the rodeo grounds from Wells Avenue. Full turning movements will be allowed on 9th Street and Sutro Street. Traffic will be directed by signage.
- Rideshare/taxi drop-off and pick-up on Wells Avenue will be located south of Gate 2 and north of the Health Department Gate.
- A bus stop north of Gate 2.0 will provide free shuttle service to the free parking at GSR at 2500 East 2nd St.
- Casino shuttle drop-off and pick-up areas will be provided between Gate 2.0 and Gate 2.5, and between the Health Department Gate and Gate 1.
