Kathy Griffin flaunted the results of her latest cosmetic procedure on Sunday as she ventured out with a mysterious man at a bustling Los Angeles farmer’s market – mere days after confessing to undergoing her third facelift.
The 64-year-old comedian appeared noticeably different, displaying her newly tightened complexion while browsing at the Studio City Farmers Market, taking time to savor some ice cream during the leisurely afternoon excursion. Griffin opted for casual attire during the summer walk, wearing a vintage pink Sonny and Cher T-shirt, combined with relaxed navy pants and comfortable black sneakers.
A blue crossbody purse and peach-colored sunglasses rounded out her laid-back ensemble, while her iconic red locks were pulled back in an elegant updo. Accompanying her was an unknown man wearing a blue shirt and khaki shorts, though the specifics of their connection remain a mystery.
Griffin’s public outing follows just days after she revealed details about her recent surgery on her Talk Your Head Off podcast, ultimately confirming what numerous fans had speculated after seeing her recent Malibu hiking photos.
“Very taut is also very true!” the comic joked. “It’s my third. I know that’s so vain! I’m so vain for no reason. No one has ever gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful, youthful face. You come to hear my jokes, which is what I want.”
She added “I don’t want you to come to care what I look like. I’m in Lululemons today for God’s sake. I’m in my fat pants. I don’t have dysmorphia… I have a little.”
The comedian also disclosed she went under the knife for additional treatments, including a blepharoplasty, a foxy eye lift and work on her chin as part of her latest makeover.
Kathy didn’t hold back about the harsh realities of facial surgery, describing it as agonizing and awful, despite what others might say. “These b—— that are like, ‘It’s like getting a tooth filled’… No, it’s painful,” she declared, noting that the initial night involves “disgusting” drains protruding from your chin.
Kathy also credited the surgeon behind her transformation as Dr. Ben Talei, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon renowned for his A-list patients. Talei previously treated pop sensation Sia, who publicly praised him at the Daytime Beauty Awards in 2023.
The notoriously private 49-year-old vocalist raved at the event, “I love him, I can’t say enough good about him.”
This development follows Griffin’s recent divorce settlement with marketing executive Randy Bick on January 13, ending nearly four years of marriage. The separation was reportedly amicable, thanks to a prenuptial agreement signed before their 2020 nuptials.
The couple had maintained an on-off romance for almost a decade, temporarily separating between 2018 and 2019. Prior to that relationship, Griffin was married to computer technician Matt Moline, whom she divorced in 2006 after five years of marriage.
The comedian has also had her share of health struggles. Despite being a lifelong non-smoker, she was diagnosed with stage 1 lung cancer and underwent surgery to remove half of her left lung.
