What’s in the box, A$AP? Last night, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky put on their best Valentine’s Day fits and stepped out for a glamorous parents’ night out. And it seems like the Don’t Be Dumb artist had a little something from Louis Vuitton for his beau.
Taking time to celebrate amidst the hustle and bustle of fashion week, the couple headed to New York City’s Caviar Russe, a Michelin star seafood restaurant in the heart of Midtown. And for the occasion, they both (though we have to give most of the credit to RiRi) embraced the obligatory color palette of the day of love.
For the Savage x Fenty founder, V-Day meant an excuse to get dressed up in bold reds. She layered a shiny black leather jacket over a long knit dress, designed with a semi-sheer bottom panel for a flirty accent. She cinched the outerwear at her waist by tying its matching belt in a knot, and added a red-and-black fur scarf around her neck. Her pointed-toe cherry pumps finished things off, and she walked out hand-in-hand with her love.
Rocky, beside her, opted for a subtler take on holiday dressing, taking his cue from the day’s quintessential sweet treat. Coordinating with Rihanna in fabrics, he wore a chocolate-brown trench and black trousers, both in leather. His Chanel trucker hat reflected the tones of his pants, while his cap-toe loafers were the perfect color match to his coat, creating a sandwich of hues.
