Outfit coordinating can get very corny very quickly, but Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have found the perfect dose of matchy-matchy for their high-fashion couple style.
This past Sunday, the pair celebrated Mother’s Day with a stylish date night at Cucina Alba in New York City. And no pair has ever looked so in sync.
(The It couple’s three children, RZA, 4, Riot, 2, and baby Rocki, did not join them for the romantic outing.)
Rihanna was sharp in a black wrap blazer and matching trousers, which she paired with a lacy corset top, seemingly from of her own lingerie brand, Savage x Fenty, and her favorite cream snakeskin pumps. Gold chain necklaces, some rings, added some shine, while amber-tinted shield sunglasses from Phoebe Philo (the oversize Bombé frames), a tan micro bag, and a glossy brown lip brought the look into the earth tones. That’s where Rocky came in.
The highlight of the rapper’s bold look was his tan suede trench from Bottega Veneta, which featured rouge leather lining for a welcome pop of color. Rocky tied the statement outerwear at the hips, and layered it easily over a black button-up, black wide-leg jeans, and chunky black boots, coordinating perfectly with his partner.
Like Rihanna, he went for brown accessories: a little two-tone shoulder bag and frameless, rectangular shades from his collaboration with Ray-Ban.
Whether on the Met Gala red carpet or the streets of Manhattan, Rihanna and Rocky will never disappoint with their sartorial chemistry.
