Riley Green has another new track on the way. The multi-GRAMMY-nominated artist dropped a teaser for a song coming out May 28, titled “Think As You Drunk,” pointing fans to the release date.
The preview shows a dimly lit bar scene with a raised beer mug front and center. The song title appears in the corner in white and gold lettering. Beyond the release date and imagery, Green offered no additional details about the track.
The timing puts “Think As You Drunk” squarely in the middle of Green’s Cowboy As It Gets Tour. It also continues what has become a reliable approach for the Jacksonville State University alum — building anticipation through stripped-down social media previews before songs officially land.
Green has earned that anticipation. His third studio album, Don’t Mind If I Do, released in October 2024, cemented his standing as one of country music’s premier solo songwriters. Both “Worst Way” and the Ella Langley duet “Don’t Mind If I Do” climbed to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart — each written entirely by Green alone. The back-to-back feat had not been accomplished since Taylor Swift topped the chart with “Sparks Fly” and “Ours” in 2011 and 2012.
2026 has already been eventful for Green. In March, he joined Carly Pearce on “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay.” In April, he made his acting debut on Marshals — the CBS Yellowstone spinoff — playing Garrett, a former Navy SEAL struggling with his past. He performed his self-written single “My Way” on the show during the April 26 episode. A deluxe edition of Don’t Mind If I Do, featuring six additional tracks, dropped Aug. 29, 2025.
