Little Rock, it’s time to raise a glass to one of our most iconic neighborhoods.
Downtown is marking the sixth anniversary of its River Market Entertainment District with a birthday bash set for this Saturday, Aug. 23, from 6-8 p.m.
Having made its debut in 2019, the official designation of the district allows folks of legal drinking age to enjoy their alcoholic beverages on the go. Drinks are allowed in public spaces and participating commercial properties, as long as sippers wear a special wristband and use a designated cup.
To celebrate the anniversary, River Market revelers can expect to find live entertainment taking place throughout the district, as well as various businesses offering discounts, specials and pop-ups.
Free parking will also be available at the River Market Parking Deck located at 500 E. Second St.
