Just seven months after hanging up his hat on Fox’s 9-1-1: Lone Star, Rob Lowe is eyeing a return to network TV as the star of a “workplace romantic comedy” in development at ABC, Variety reports.
Lowe is set to executive-produce and star in The Ram, which finds him playing a “daily sports talk show host who falls for the new producer brought in to boost his ratings,” per the character’s official description.
