Known for his work in front of the camera for ‘All in the Family’ and as director behind legendary films such as ‘When Harry Met Sally,’ ‘Stand By Me,’ ‘A Few Good Men,’ and ‘This Is Spinal Tap,’ the news sent shockwaves across the film community.
