Robert Pattinson appears to be gearing up to take his music career to the next level and release seven new songs.
The Batman actor is currently busy working on the likes of 2026’s The Odyssey and Dune: Part Three, as well as 2027’s The Batman – Part II, but this hasn’t stopped him from seemingly officially registering seven songs with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
As found via the ASCAP Repertory, Pattinson has submitted songs titled ‘Bent Out That Midnight Day’, ‘Best Friend’, ‘Fascinate’, ‘Fell Off’, ‘Green Light’, ‘Waiting on Me’, and ‘Witness (You See Me).
The Mickey 17 actor has released musical projects before. In fact, he performed on two songs for the first Twilight soundtrack, titled ‘Never Think’, and ‘Let Me Sign’. At the time, he admitted that he didn’t want people to think that he was “cashing in” by sneaking songs onto the Twilight soundtrack.
‘Let Me Sign’, which is a favourite among Twilight fans, was co-written by Marcus Foster. As per the ASCAP website, Pattinson and Foster are both deemed co-writers on the new tracks, with Pattinson the only performer. Though there is no official way to verify that this Pattinson is the Batman actor himself, their previous work together suggests that the collaborations are forthcoming.
No release date is currently in sight. Pattinson’s latest project, Die My Love, will hit theatres on November 14th.
Pattinson stars alongside Jennifer Lawrence; they depict a couple thrown into the throngs of isolation and distress that comes with raising a newborn.
