Bon Jovi is set to head out on tour in 2026, officially sharing the news and their upcoming show dates in a poster uploaded to Instagram on Oct. 23. While many fans were delighted to see the band getting back on the road, quite a few people noticed something missing from the tour poster: No Richie Sambora.
It didn’t take long for comments to start rolling in, many wondering why Sambora wasn’t part of the upcoming tour.
“Please bring back Richie! It just ain’t the same without him man,” one person wrote.
“We want Richieeeeee,” someone else said.
“And Richie???… When Jon??” a third Instagram user asked.
“RitchieComeBack,” a fourth comment read.
According to TMZ, there isn’t any bad blood between Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. While some people were hopeful that Sambora would reunite with his bandmates after more than a decade, that’s simply not going to happen. And, as TMZ reports, it’s never going to happen.
Sambora left Bon Jovi in 2013. He rejoined his bandmates in 2018 when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but hasn’t been back since.
Meanwhile, other Bon Jovi fans are elated to see the band getting back on tour after Bon Jovi himself underwent vocal chord surgery.
“I think I can confidently say that I can go and do my two and a half hours night after night after night. But I wouldn’t do it unless it was that,” Bon Jovi said on the Oct. 23 episode of Today. “The road has been long. It’s been tough. But I persevered,” he said of his recovery.
