Rod Stewart Opens Up in Meaningful and ‘Sincere’ Message to Fans

The day after Rod Stewart, 80, performed for many of his loyal fans in Clarkston, Mich., the singer took to social media to deliver a personal message for everyone in attendance at the show.

On Aug. 13, Stewart shared a message on Instagram that began, “Sincere thanks to all my fans and friends who attended my show last night at Pine Knob,” referring to the Pine Knob Music Theatre venue.

He went on, “You were just fabulous, even through the rain! I couldn’t have asked for more. God bless all of you, and may you stay ‘Forever Young!’ – Sir Rod Stewart.”

The music legend appeared very thankful for the fans’ support at the show, giving them a unique callout in a way that he hasn’t done after other tour stops.

Fans were just as thankful for Stewart, rushing to the comments with kind messages like, “It was amazing!!!!! You’re the best Rod!!!” and “Loved the show…my 10th Rod concert! I waved and you waved back at me 😊 🫶.”

Another fan said it was a “fantastic show,” while someone else recounted their experience as they said, “My favorite forever, @sirrodstewart 💕🎻🕺🏻The concert was amazing! Your hits like Maggie May’ and Do you think I’m Sexy?’ Got everyone singing along.🔥.”

Next up for the singer, he will be performing in Nashville, Tenn., on Aug. 14, at the Ascend Amphitheater, followed by a concert in St. Louis, Mo., the next day.
