Ronny Chieng’s ‘Daily Show’ interview with Aaron Chen is a delight

Daily Show host Ronny Chieng and comedian Aaron Chen have known each other for an age, so watching them in an interview situation is inevitably a delight.

On Thursday night’s show Chieng, who has known Chen since he was 16, chatted about the comedian’s new Apple TV film The Dink, as well as the key to comedy sports movies, yelling at Andy Roddick, living in Australia, being too young to get into stand-up comedy bars, and Chieng insisting he showed Chen the ropes.

“Well, yeah, you have been a big mentor to me,” says Chen.

“Oh, OK,” jokes Chieng. “You caught everyone off guard with the sincerity, including me.”

“That’s a pump fake,” says Chen.
