Released today, “Berghain” is the first single off the Spanish artist’s forthcoming album LUX, due out November 7th on Columbia Records. It arrives alongside a music video directed by Latin Grammy winner Nicolas Méndez.
Per a press release, Rosalía recorded LUX with the London Symphonic Orchestra and conductor Daníel Bjarnason. Split into four movements, the record also features contributions from Portuguese singer Carminho, Spanish singer Silvia Pérez Cruz, Washington-based trio Yahritza, Spanish flamenco artist Estrella Morente and the boys choir Escolania de Montserrat i Cor Cambra Palau de la Música Catalana.
Rosalía shared her most recent studio full-length, Motomami, back in 2022. Since then, she’s embarked on a world tour and shared a number of one-off tracks and collaborations, including “Oral” with Björk, “Omega” with Ralphie Choo and an EP with her ex-fiancé Rauw Alejandro. Earlier this year, HBO also confirmed she’ll join the cast for the forthcoming new season of Euphoria.
