A royal expert has made shocking claims after Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet met King Charles in UK in four years.
Citing the royal insiders, Rob Shuter has claimed in his Naughty But Nice substack that the California-based couple’s meeting with the monarch was not about ‘family’.
The sources tell Rob, “This wasn’t about family. It was about access.”
Royal association remains Meghan and Harry’s “most valuable asset”, the close source went on saying.
“A smiling photograph with the King would have instantly reset the narrative, reinforced their status, and reminded everyone that they still belong in the royal conversation.”
Palace has confirmed the private family gathering but released no photographs, and none are expected.
Moreover, in the same pieace, Rob claims it was a major blow to Meghan as the photo with King Charles was the major dream for the Duchess.
It was Charles first meeting with Archie and Lilibet since 2022.
The insiders told the expert while the private audience with King Charles was important, Meghan’s real objective was always the image.
The sources claimed, “The meeting was valuable, but the photograph was the prize.
“Meghan understands the power of imagery better than almost anyone. A single picture with the King would have reminded the world that she and Harry are still royalty. That’s branding gold.”
